Attorney at Law (USA): 1988-2008
Private and corporate civil practice, trial and appellate practice in state and federal courts, defense and plaintiff work. Extensive experience researching, writing, and arguing complicated legal matters, and communicating with judges, juries, clients, witnesses, and experts. Areas of practice and particular skills include:

• Associate attorney in plaintiff’s personal injury firm concentrating in medical malpractice, proficient in medical terminology.

• Managing attorney in insurance law practice, responsible for all administrative matters and general operation of small law office, including supervision of less experienced attorneys.

• Independent subcontractor to attorneys and law firms, analyzed and advised regarding insurance contracts.

Teacher/Translator, English as Foreign Language: 2008-Present
TOEFL-certified, teaching English to Italian adult students, specializing in Legal English and Business English. Private students have included lawyers, magistrates, judges (appellate and constitutional courts), business owners, professionals, and university students. Have also taught courses for private language schools, at businesses and law firms.
